Meet The Team

As a mum of twins, a grandma, and having worked here since September 1999, the importance of creating a welcoming, friendly, safe, and positive environment is my top priority.

I make sure that all the children and their families are at the heart of everything we do and provide.

I work with an amazing team, and I continue after all these years to feel proud of the achievements and accomplishments of Glebelands Pre-school and Out of School club.

Hi, I'm Helen and I'm the SENDCo here at Glebelands Pre-school and Out of School Club.

 

I have over 20 years of childcare experience and love the work i do. 

 

I also have 3 children of my own.

 

I have a passion for Early Years support and love providing a safe, loving and inclusive environment in which all children can reach their full potential. 
 

I’m Vicky and I’ve over 25 Years of experience of working with children.

I have been part of the Glebelands team since 2016 helping, encouraging and supporting the children to grow and develop so they leave being confident and independent.

Outside of work I have 2 children, who keep me busy with dancing and football.

I love to bake and will happily bake with the children.

I have worked at Glebelands Pre-school and Out of School Club for 17years, joining the team in 2007.

I enjoy working with early years children because I love to see how they progress, from when they first start to when they leave to start their new venture at primary school.

​

I have a grown-up daughter, 3 grown-up stepchildren and 7 grandchildren - which all keep me busy in my spare time!

I joined the team Sept 2023.

​

10 years ago, I was traveling the world and working in Lapland. Now my life looks very different. I have 4 children and count myself very lucky in saying that I love my job.

​

My favourite part of the role is finding new ways to give back to the children, parents and staff. 

I love working at the Pre-school.

I find it extremely rewarding getting to know the children’s individual personalities, being part of their learning journey.

Seeing them grow and progress throughout their time with us makes all the difference.

I joined the team in October 2019 to work caring for the children in the Out of school club.

I have been part of the setting for years as my children attended the pre-school.

In my spare time gardening is my passion! I also enjoy baking.

I started working as a 1:1 support practitioner in June 2023.

In August 2024 I completed and achieved my Level 3 in childcare.

It was when I became a mum that made me want to work in childcare.

Its great working with this age range of children and since working at Glebelands Pre-school and Out of school club I have loved every minute!

I have worked at Glebelands Pre-school for over 20 years.

My two sons who are now grown up attended Glebelands Pre-school and I can honestly say that Glebelands started them on their learning journey.

I love to see the children come in of a morning and leave at the end of their session with a smile on their faces.

I’m a season ticket holder for Leicester City and enjoy going on walks.

​I have 25 years of experience working in childcare (started here in September 1999).

It’s my absolute pleasure to make every child’s day when they walk through the door, fun and safe, providing security and comfort and supporting them in their development and learning.

I enjoy coming to work and I love to see the children happy.
